The region attracts visitors internationally and is renowned for its gastronomy and oyster beds in particular. Many visit the historic landing beaches, museums and fortifications along the coast but as a tourist destination the area remains essentially unspoiled.

The Beach House was built in the 1960ís and is exceptionally attractive with a diminishing coarse stone roof. The whole house underwent a complete renovation in 2011 but still retains an antique fireplace carved from local Caen limestone and a charming wooden spiral staircase. The interior is fashioned in a comfortable, relaxed style with towels and linen supplied.
