It has an exceptional location on one of the few south-facing beaches in Normandy and has private access from the garden directly onto the beach, only meters away, which is clean and peaceful. The sand is punctuated by occasional granite outcrops and is perfect for supervised swimming, shell-seeking, rock-pooling and watersports. The back door has a hosepipe which allows for easy de-sanding and leads directly into the utility room, which is equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer and a large butler's sink.

In the summer months there is a rudimentary beach café within a short walk and a boat-hire hut with kayaks, windsurfers and catamarans. Just a few minutes walk in the opposite direction brings you to an excellent windsurfing beach.

The 4 bedrooms accommodate 8/9 in 1 superking, 1 double and a children’s room upstairs with 1 superking downstairs. All have comfortable beds, pillows and duvets, chest of drawers and views of the sea. The master bedroom is twin-aspect with windows on two sides. The downstairs bedroom has French windows opening onto the terrace and garden beyond.

The house has a downstairs shower room with dual access from both the utility and the bedroom. The bathroom upstairs also has a full size bath and shower.

The main dining table is in the open plan living area and in the kitchen is a smaller one for breakfast or snacks. It is well equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, induction hob and Miele oven with warming drawer. In addition there is an outdoor table and seating on the terrace for informal alfresco dining.

The beachfront is a haven for children, however, we would like to point out that the garden is not completely gated and any waterside activities will require supervision at all times.

The weather can be changeable, sometimes blowing in and out very quickly, but being on the eastern side of the peninsula affords shelter from the worst of the Atlantic winds. Summers are generally blessed with temperatures in the mid 20’s and for the cooler months the house benefits from full gas fired central heating and a wood burner.

There is private parking for 3 cars adjacent to the house and as it is a shared-access driveway with the previous owner, cars must only be parked where permitted.
